Of course you can!! We love humans almost as much as dogs!
YES!! ROC Dog Lounge is Rochester’s first indoor dog park, with 3300 square feet enclosed just for dogs, large and small, to run, play, chase, dive into ball pits, lounge on beds, while their humans chill with friends in a 6000 square foot bar with craft cocktails, bites, games, events, and more!!
Yes!! Doggie daycare hours are from 7AM-7PM. We’ll play with your dogs and give them lots of love and exercise while you go to work for the day. And, hey, when you’re ready to pick up your fur baby, call a few friends to meet up for drinks and bites. No extra charge for your dog to keep playing while you hang with friends!!
Yes, yes, yes! After you check your dog in at reception, you’ll take off their leash, and set them free to play! We have “ruff-eries” to look after and clean up after your furry friend(s) while they are in the dog park playing and chasing their new doggie friends.
We want to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our humans and their dogs. The bar is for humans to run around in and the dog park is for dogs to run free and safely in. For this reason, we require dogs to be leashed anytime they are not in the off leash dog park.
No, the dog park must remain free of food and alcohol at all times to stay clean and safe just for dogs and ruff-eries. The upstairs mezzanine has seating, pool tables, and games, and it wraps around the dog park so humans can enjoy their cocktails and bites, while watching their furry friends play.
Yes, as long as you are over 16 and you must leave your food and drink in the bar. No food or drink is allowed in the dog park.
We are always looking out for everyone’s safety.Dogs who are off leash can, at times, become unpredictable and it is an insurance liability. Long story short, our insurance company would not cover us unless we had this rule in place.
NO! We know that a dog’s behavior is often dictated by their owners, which means that there are a lot of exceptions to all of the breed stereotypes out there. We want to maintain a very inclusive environment here at ROC Dog Lounge. As long as your dog is well-behaved and plays well with other dogs, we welcome them. However, we must reserve the right to ask any patron to leave that has a dog that is acting aggressively or who won’t follow the rules.
Yes, they do. We do not expect dogs under the age of 6 months to be spayed or neutered. However, we reserve the right to ask you to leave if you are not following this rule.
Yes, yes, yes. We want everyone to be safe from disease at ROC Dog Lounge.
All ROC Dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines.
When you enter the premise, you are agreeing to all of the rules set by ROC Dog Lounge. One of these rules is that members are liable for damage, injury or illness inflicted by their dogs. This means owners are financially and legally responsible for their dog’s behavior. If there is an injury to any dog, ROC Dog Lounge will alert the dog’s owner. We will fill out an incident report and facilitate the exchange of information between both parties. From here, it is up to both doggie parents to work together on medical treatments for either or both dogs.
Please let anyone of our staff members know immediately if you feel like there is a dog that is being aggressive and we will handle the situation. We’re sorry but members who cannot control their dogs will be asked to leave immediately. We’d be happy to get you signed up for one of our dog training sessions.
Everything is first come first serve. Unless, we are closed for a private event. If you’d like to book a private event, email us.
We spend a lot of time each week making sure the lounge and the dog park are as clean as possible!Every night, we sanitize and clean the entire ROC Dog Lounge with enzyme treatments and industrial strength odor reducing products. The 3100 square foot dog park features antimicrobial astroturf, made specially for dogs. It’s easy to clean and easy to sanitize. We also installed recessed drains to make cleaning up the dog park throughout the day EASY AS PIE! Let’s just say, we’re clean freaks!
To maintain the dog park, pay the bills (insurance is a lot, who knew?) and staff of course!!But seriously, when you sign up for our monthly or yearly membership (or you just pay to drop-in), you are agreeing to the ROC Dog Lounge rules. You actually agree to the rules when you walk in the front door, but registering your dog to enter and play in the park is an added safety measure for us as well. We have costs closely associated with an animal care facility. Cleaning up after both humans and dogs is something most restaurants don’t have to think about. This membership fee helps us to offset these costs and keep the Lounge clean, beautiful, and running smoothly.
It’s pretty painless. You complete the form online or when you arrive and check in with one of our team members, and choose a membership – monthly or yearly. When completing the form you’ll snap a pic of your vaccination records and a pic of your dog. We must have your records on file.
Sure! But, your dog must be a member or be signed up for doggie daycare to use the dog park.
Yes! We welcome private events on the mezzanine or book the place if you want! If you’d like to book a private event, please contact us at hello@rocdoglounge.com for more information.
